The Fluff
Ryan "Fluff" Bruce is an artist, producer, audio engineer, youtuber, that has created a personality for himself in the internet known for being a knowledgable audio engineer and sharing his ideals, equipment reviews, and mixing styles to the masses. Since starting his channel in 2011 as a learning channel for home recording techniques and creating dicussions and debates for what tools to use such as 'Audix i5 versus SM57' in order for audiences to analyse for themselves before investing in such tools (For The Record..., n.d.). Fluff has achieved great popularity and success over the years, garnering over 190 thousand followers and has developed a community for those into heavy music and technical aspects of music production by collaborating with other youtubers of similar context and content such as Rob Schallon and Jared Dines (Bruce, n.d.).
Ryan Bruce has also been successful in creating a brand for himself in "Riffs, Beards, and Gear" and his own band 'Rest and Repose'. In the midst of reviewing gear and audio tools, Fluff has established his own sound by signing with Balaguer guitars in making a range of guitars that fuse vintage and modern looks and tones (Bogdanov, 2016).
